ArtZtudio
ArtZtudio is part of Open Door Fellowship Church, a ministry located in urban Denver. Their purpose is to embrace needy and broken people. ArtZtudio was founded in 2003 and is located in a drop in center where homeless kids and "near" homeless kids can drop by. They serve lunch and offer a place for the kids to hang out, as well as a clothing bank and resource center. Mentoring and bible studies are an active part of ArtZtudio. Volunteers make themselves available to the kids to mentor, take them to the doctor, job interviews, etc.
Dino and Nanette Butler
Dino and Nanette live in Vanderwagon, New Mexico where they minister to their own people on the Navajo Reservation through personal evangelism, relevant discipleship, and leadership development. They lead Bible studies with the youth on the reservation and Dino has an active music ministry leading the youth in worship and giving concerts. They hold an eight week summer camp that ministers to hundreds of kids from ages eight to 18. Dino amd Nanette have a heart for serving God and ministering to the people on the Navajo Reservation.
Hope in Transit
Dave and Lisa Sprinkle, formerly with the Legacy Traveling School have branched out on their own to start Hope in Transit. Hope in Transit is designed to bring love and hope to young people on the reservations in the southwest using music as a vehicle to minister to spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs. Dave and Lisa travel in a monthly cycle to three different locations on the Navajo and White Mountain Apache Reservations teaching the students keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, recorder, music theory, and recording technologies. Because they are able to spend quality time with the students at each location, they have become "voluntary accountability partners" for the kids, encouraging them to make good decisions, to work and study hard, and ultimately be who they were created to be.
Illinois Baptist Children's Home & Family Services
Illinois Baptist Children's Home & Family Services, located in Carmi Illinois, provides care to children and families in crisis. They are home to approximately 100 children between the ages of eight and 18. As part of their residential care program, an art program has been implemented to assist in the therapeutic intervention of the children. Through this art program, the children are able to set attainable goals, learn a new form of art, and finish projects within an allotted amount of time, while at the same time using art as a means of expression, helping with their healing process.

Mission Year
LOVE GOD / LOVE PEOPLE // NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
Mission Year is a dynamic movement of believers dedicated to building the Kingdom of God through sacrificial service. Every day our Team Members put their faith into action in inner-city neighborhoods across the nation, providing a powerful combination of community service and Christian love. They tutor, build, nurture, repair, encourage, assist, organize, teach, learn from, listen to, and pray with all kinds of people, all in the name of Jesus. It is a radical opportunity for Christian young people to put into practice the simplest and most important commandment of Jesus: "Love the Lord your God, and love your neighbor as yourself." By living and working for a year in a poor, urban neighborhood, partnering with a local church, volunteering at a social service agency, and spending time with neighbors, Mission Year team members effectively impact their communities while catching a deeper vision for what the Kingdom of God is like.
